We had a double celebration today at school.
We celebrated World Mental Health Day and officially raised our Amber Flag.
We wore yellow to school today as it is the colour associated with raising mental health awareness. Our classes also took part in online Mental Health and Well-Being webinars. Junior Infants - 3rd class took part in a zoom webinar by Una Curran and 4th - 6th class joined a live webinar with Fiona Foreman. All classes enjoyed taking part.
Ms. Ryan raised our Amber Flag, to rapturous applause. We were awarded our Amber Flag status in June for our promotion of positive mental health in our school. We will strive to continue to do this in our school.
