Each year our school takes part in the Discover Primary Science Awards Scheme. Children are involved in early science activities, Maths, Science and Engineering Week and also display the great work that goes on in our classrooms. We also arrange for guest speakers to visit our school as part of this award. Recently we have had a visiting Planetarium, Aquarium in the Classroom (Galway Atlantaquarium), Explorers Programme, Incredible Edibles Programme, Astronomy Ireland, Heritage in Schools, Farmyard in the Classroom to name but a few. The children love the variety of visiting speakers. We have a number of awards which are on display in the school.
