Trick or Treat

25th Oct 2019

Thank you all for all your help, support and hard work this half term. We hope you all have a great Halloween and we look forward to seeing you all in November. Pat Kilcoyne completed his 8 week coaching with all classes so Pat will not be doing PE on Mondays. Gymnastics for the infant classes has moved to Tuesday for the second half of this term.

Well done to all the teachers and children (and some parents also!) who dressed up to support our fundraiser for Temple Street. At the moment we have 350 Euro collected for Temple Street. We will forward the money after Halloween. Thanks to Ms Conlon and Ms Tuohy for coordinating this event. Ms Conlon has taken lots of photographs so watch our website over Halloween for lots of scary classes!! The Sligo Weekender may also print some of our photographs.

Mr Cawley will not be returning to us after Halloween as he has decided to retire. We would like to thank Mr Cawley for all his work in Holy Family NS. Mr Cawley was very supportive of all our initiatives and was very interested in the progress of children in our school and when they leave for St Attracta's. He served 2 terms on the BOM and also worked diligently with Ms Gordon on the Green School. Many children had great experiences of handball through his after school work. Mr Cawley will be back to visit us after Halloween when we can celebrate his time with us
