The Vikings

Over the last number of weeks, the children have been learning about the Vikings. We integrated history with STEM by designing and building longhouses and longships using Lego, Minecraft and recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper and lollipop sticks. Towards the end of the unit the children wrote a double paged non chronological report on the Vikings. To conclude the thematic exploration, the children were tasked with designing and constructing Viking helmets that fit their heads. Well done 4th class, a super job!
