In our school we use the Textparent Messaging Service to send text messages to parents. The cost of these messages is paid for by the BOM from school funds.
The contact number that parents provide on the enrolment form is added to the school messaging system
Parents can also download the app to your smartphone. This costs the BOM less money for messages.
To download the App to your phone:
- Search for the Textaparent App on the App or Play Store and install onto your phone. https://app.textaparent.ie/get/app
- You will be asked for your mobile number and a verification message will be sent to your mobile phone. This simply aligns your mobile phone number with our school’s TextaParent Account.
- Open the App, accept “Allow Notifications”.
We have a large list of parents phone numbers on file and to ensure that we have your most up-to-date and reliable numbers please inform the school if you have recently changed your mobile number
Please note - we need Irish mobile phone numbers!
