Science Week in 6th Class

17th Nov 2022

Over the past week we have been focusing on changes of state(solids, liquids, gases). We have been trying to find out how changes of state occur. To explore and investigate this, we made rice Krispie buns. To challenge the children further, they had to read and follow the recipe 'as Gaeilge' which integrated nicely to our theme 'Bia' which we have been learning about this term.

To tie in with chocolate during science week, we also investigated the following: Do all types of chocolate melt at the same time as well as the same temperature?

A very well done to the children!
