The Active School Committee are running a Bake Sale on Tuesday February 17th.Children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes are invited to bake (or provide) one treat which can be sold on the day | School closed for midterm break on 19th and 20th of February. | Swimming letters have been sent home with children from 3rd to 6th. Money can be paid to the class teacher.

On Tuesday we made pancake batter. The children all got to mix the batter, ensuring there were no lumps.  They enjoyed tasting them with a choice of lemon and sugar. They practised their Irish vocabulary, "Ba mhaith liom" and "Go raibh maith agat" when the pancakes were being served for "Seachtain na Gaeilge".  Bhí na pancóga go hálainn!
