Mindful Moments with the Amber Flag Committee

Today the Amber Flag Committee took part in their own mindfulness lesson with Ms. Conlon.

We focused on helping them slow down and become more aware of their bodies and senses.

We began with a guided body scan, encouraging the pupils to focus on different parts of their body and notice any sensations they felt, which helped create a calm and settled atmosphere.

We then took part in a ‘Mindful Malteasers’ activity, where the pupils were asked not to chew straight away but to let the chocolate melt in their mouths, paying attention to the taste, texture, and how it changed.

This activity helped the pupils practise mindful attention in a fun and engaging way, while showing them how being present can make everyday experiences more meaningful!
