As part of the local development work of Sligo LEADER partnership company they are developing an intergeneration project. To promote community engagement they have developed a local history project that records the lived experiences of the older people in Ballymote, Gurteen and Tubbercurry now using local day services.
The children in 2nd class had the opportunity to generate illustrations and artwork based on the older people's stories which was facilitated by Wayne O Connor.
