The Active School Committee are running a Bake Sale on Tuesday February 17th.Children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes are invited to bake (or provide) one treat which can be sold on the day | School closed for midterm break on 19th and 20th of February. | Swimming letters have been sent home with children from 3rd to 6th. Money can be paid to the class teacher.

Little Heroes First Aid Workshop!

Fourth class were super lucky to get to participate in a First Aid workshop on Thursday!

We were visited by Ronan, a retired paramedic, who shared his wealth of knowledge and expertise with us all.
We learned some vital information and life skills that we can bring with us throughout our life. 

We learned all about:

  • What is First Aid?
  • Calling for Help on 999/112
  • Checking if someone is responsive
  • How to check breathing
  • Performing basic CPR
  • How to help someone if they are choking
  • Helping someone who is bleeding
  • Tips on how to help with Burns / Scalds
Thank you so much to Ms. Ryan for giving us this opportunity to participate in such a worthwhile and hands on workshop. There are definitely some future nurses, doctors and paramedics among us!
