Literacy Lift Off has started in Senior Infants this term. Ms McDonagh coordinates this literacy initiative. It is an intensive approach to literacy with a focus on phonics, reading and writing. During Literacy Lift Off children read 4 books a week to improve their comprehension, vocabulary, fluency and word attack skills. Thanks to all the staff for the work on this initiative.
