Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

21st Oct 2021

Rang a Cúig have been busy preparing for Halloween over the past fortnight.

They were focusing on colour mixing in art and they created beautiful pumpkins and a night sky, both based on our Halloween theme.

They also looked at the strand of drawing and everyone created a sugar skull, based on the celebration of the ‘Day of the Dead’. There was great focus on the use of line and patterns and every creation is unique!

All of the pupils also planned and wrote a fictional Halloween recount to finish off the genre of recount writing. They created a first draft and then completed their final draft.

It sure has been a busy few weeks in 5th class and everyone is more than entitled to a well deserved rest!
