The Active School Committee are running a Bake Sale on Tuesday February 17th.Children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes are invited to bake (or provide) one treat which can be sold on the day | School closed for midterm break on 19th and 20th of February. | Swimming letters have been sent home with children from 3rd to 6th. Money can be paid to the class teacher.

Halloween Ready!

The boys and girls in 6th class have been creating Halloween inspired artwork and literacy pieces over the past 2 weeks. 

They have created some beautiful paintings, focusing on blending and colour mixing, and they also constructed some 3D Halloween objects using paper folding and card.

 

There were also some fantastic poems created based on ‘Halloween Night’ and each poem incorporated the poetry technique of rhyme. We also finished our Recount Writing genre by writing a fictional recount based on ‘My Horrendous Halloween’.

 

Everyone has really worked so hard this term and they definitely deserve a nice, relaxing break!
