A Special Grandparents’ Day Celebration at School
This week is Catholic Schools Week and as part of that, every year, there is a day for celebrating our grandparents. This morning our pupils in the sacrament classes, 2nd, 5th and 6th class, attended morning Mass with Fr. Sherlock. Their grandparents or special friends were invited to attend and afterwards they came across to the school for some tea, coffee and goodies.
2nd, 5th and 6th class had songs and poems prepared for this special visit.
2nd class also had questions prepared, asking our visitors about when they were young. They also got to play some board games in their classroom with them.
We all had a lovely time today celebrating these special people.
Thank you to anyone who contributed in any way today to make it so enjoyable for all.
We hope you enjoy the video below with snippets from the day.
