Experimenting with Forces!

As part of Science Week 2021 5th class have been taking a look at the various types of forces and how an applied force can impact on an object; by changing its shape and causing it to move or stop. 

We had a great afternoon of fun trying out our 'Walking on Air' experiment where we had to try and stand on a table that was being held up by some balloons, without popping any of the balloons. We also faced the challenge of having to transport 8 Maltesers from one bowl to another, without using our hands!

We wrote up our findings and experiences of both experiments and included some key points and diagrams to outline the steps. 

A very enjoyable time was had by everyone!
