We got notification today that we have received an SFI Discover Primary Maths and Science Award for 2020-2021!
Well done to all the teachers who worked hard during the last year to achieve this award. A special well done to the children who worked hard at science, maths and ICT to help us achieve the award.
Well done to you all in Holy Family School Tubbercurry. Having achieved the Badge of Excellence last year, it is wonderful that you are maintaining your commitment to STEM despite the difficulty of the pandemic. Your continued engagement with outside agencies albeit online deserve high praise! I'm sure there was great benefit to the experiences. You also showed some of the projects that you completed during the lockdown - ICT has been a great help this year allowing this communication with each other while apart. You engaged in a wide range of STEM activities and your log illustrates clearly the efforts and the enjoyment.
Congratulations again and keep up the good work as another school year begins, hopefully a little brighter than the last.
