Daffodils in Rang a Cúig

Fifth class have been learning all about the poem ‘Daffodils’ by William Wordsworth. 

They gave their initial response to the poem and then they studied the literary techniques that was used, such as; rhyme, imagery, hyperbole, similes and personification. They are learning to recite the poem off by heart too! 

On Friday we painted our very own daffodil scene based on the second verse of the poem. 

Each painting is unique and they bring great colour to our classroom for the season of Spring!
