Today we celebrated World Book Day in style at Holy Family NS! Pupils and staff dressed up as their favourite book characters, bringing lots of colour and creativity to our classrooms and corridors.
Every class took part in activities to celebrate our love of reading.
We enjoyed “Reading Buddies”, with 2nd and 3rd Class reading to Junior and Senior Infants, which was a lovely experience for all involved.
Our Active Schools Committee also added to the fun by displaying inspiring reading quotes along the walkway, which many classes enjoyed exploring out in the yard. A wonderful day celebrating books and the joy of reading!
