The Active School Committee are running a Bake Sale on Tuesday February 17th.Children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes are invited to bake (or provide) one treat which can be sold on the day | School closed for midterm break on 19th and 20th of February. | Swimming letters have been sent home with children from 3rd to 6th. Money can be paid to the class teacher.

Busy at Work in Rang a Cúig!

September was a very busy month for Ms. Tuohy’s 5th class!

Every day they completed their ‘Daily Mile’ and they have made great progress. They also focused on the strand of Athletics in PE, in particular their running, sprinting and relay skills. Some of the children got the chance to represent the school at the SuperValu Athletics Fest and they were excellent ambassadors for the school.

They finished the topic of ‘Mé Féin’ in Irish and wrote a short piece about themselves and designed it using the Book Creator app on the iPads. 

Some beautiful art work was also created as the children got a chance to experiment with different drawing materials and mix the primary paint colours!
