The Active School Committee are running a Bake Sale on Tuesday February 17th.Children in 4th, 5th and 6th classes are invited to bake (or provide) one treat which can be sold on the day | School closed for midterm break on 19th and 20th of February. | Swimming letters have been sent home with children from 3rd to 6th. Money can be paid to the class teacher.

Biodiversity Workshop!

On Monday we were treated to a BioDiversity Workshop with the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic Brendan. 

We talked about lots of different creatures, the food chain, pollinators and lots more. This linked in nicely with the Green Flag we were awarded earlier in the year for ‘Global Citizenship- Food and Biodiversity.’ 

We talked all about Bidiversity and he had lots of interesting and cool items to show us. He even got some of the children to do a few bush tucker trials, if they were brave enough!

He was very impressed with how engaged all the children were, their general knowledge and most importantly their fantastic manners! 

We hope to see Brendan again next year!
