Today we received a lovely gift of Irish books from An Bosca Leabharlainne.

"Children’s Books Ireland is the national charity and arts organisation that champions every child’s right to develop a love of reading. Part of our work is managing the Laureate na nÓg initiative on behalf of the Arts Council. 

The current Laureate na nÓg, Áine Ní Ghlinn, is focussed on encouraging children to read as Gaeilge for pleasure. Áine’s flagship project during her term as Laureate is An Bosca Leabharlainne – a box of 25 original Irish language books to be gifted to schools around Ireland.
