Last week was a very busy week for 4th class as we participated in Active Schools Week! Our fabulous Active Schools Committee had organised a week filled with lots of fun sports for us to try.
We started off Active Schools week with a whole school ‘Wake Up & Shake Up’ with Vicky and we were also treated to a dance session with her later in the day.
Tennis Tuesday was a big hit with everyone, when Tim and Josh came in to coach us! There are definitely some future tennis stars in the class!
Wednesday we were lucky to have our past pupil Becky come back to visit us and do a soccer session with the class.
On Thursday we had a very active day on our school tour to Castlebar with 3rd class!
Finally on Friday we had our athletics coach Dermot come in and do a session with us. He worked on our sprinting and reaction skills, as well as our standing jumps.
We finished off the day with trying to find the fastest pupil and teacher in the school! The teachers were a bit hard to recognise at first but dinosaur crossed the line in the fastest time!
What a brilliant and enjoyable week! We are already looking forward to next year! ⭐️
