Day 2 of Active Schools Week got off to a great start with our Walk on Wednesday to school. The rain didn’t dampen our spirits and this was followed by a whole school Wake Up, Shake Up on the yard led by our Active Schools Committee.
We were also delighted to welcome a special visitor to our school today and members of the Active Schools Committee proudly demonstrated our Active School Walkway and explained how it helps to keep our pupils active and engaged throughout the school day.
Throughout the school day, every class had the opportunity to enjoy our crazy golf course designed and built by our amazing students in 5th Class. It was a huge hit with everyone! Thank you Ms. Flannery for making this happen.
To round off a busy day 5th and 6th classes went swimming to Claremorris. A great day was had by all.
