Active Schools Week - Day 1

We kicked off Active Schools Week with a whole school Wake Up Shake Up movement break on the yard. Unfortunately, the rain arrived and we had to cut it short, but that didn’t dampen our spirits! 

Throughout the day, every class enjoyed tennis with Cathal, developing their skills and having great fun. Our Active School Committee members also added a new activity to our walkway and tested them out themselves before encouraging others to give them a try.

We finished the day with an exciting Sports Table Quiz. Alongside the quiz questions, there were plenty of fun challenges which brought lots of energy and laughter to end a fantastic first day.
