The children in Ms. Tuohy's class continue to amaze her every week with their wonderful dedication to their work and the way they apply themselves to the creative tasks assigned for them.
Last week the children had two very different creative and hands on tasks.
We were looking at procedural writing in English and the children had to try and follow their own recipes to test out the various steps.
In Geography we were learning about different aspects of public and private transport and we linked this into our Science lesson where we had to design and build any form of transport that could move!
Ms. Tuohy received delicious recipes for banana bread, healthy cheesecakes, smoothies, flans & lemon bars. The children also designed and built their very own boats, cars and we even had a parachute!
